Lunch Options


Are you planning on eating lunch before or after your visit?

There are several places close to the Museum that are available for group lunches:

Cable Town Park – The town park is less than 1 mile from the Museum and is located off of Sunset Road within the Town of Cable. Amenities include: handicap accessible restrooms, running water (hot and cold), electricity, picnic shelter, picnic tables, playground equipment, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a skateboarding park. Reservations are required.

Note: In the event of rain, the Cable Town Park picnic shelter becomes an outdoor classroom space for Museum field trips. If inclement weather is forecasted prior to your field trip please contact the Museum staff regarding alternative lunch sites.

Namekagon River Wayside - The wayside is less than 2 miles from the Museum and is located off of Randysek Road within the Town of Cable. Amenities include: outhouses and two picnic tables. Reservations are not required.

County Hwy 63 Wayside - The wayside is less than 3 miles from the Museum and is located off of County Highway 63 on the Namekagon River. Amenities include:  outhouses and two picnic tables. Reservations are not required.
