Hours of Operation and Contact Information

Museum hours:

The Cable Natural History Museum is open year-round from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays.

We are closed for the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Museum location:
The Museum is located in downtown Cable, Wisconsin at 43570 Kavanaugh Street (on the corner of Kavanaugh and Spruce Streets). The Museum strives to ensure the accessibility of its exhibitions, events, and programs to all persons with disabilities.

The town of Cable is located at the junction of Highways 63 and Co. Hwy. M in northwestern Wisconsin's Bayfield County.  It is approximately 40 miles south of Ashland, 17 miles north of Hayward, and 50 miles southeast of Superior.
