The Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, governed by a 17-member board of directors. The staff includes seven fulltime and part-time employees, assisted in their duties by more than 100 volunteers. The operating budget is funded by memberships and donations, grants, school programs, endowment interest, and fund-raising events.
