Cable Natural History Museum Mobile Programs
MuseumMobil is the Cable Natural History Museum's outreach program teaching the science of nature. We offer these science and environmental education opportunities in classrooms throughout northwestern Wisconsin. Each program explores science and environmental education through experiments, sensory awaremess activities, games, animal pelts and more.
At participating schools, Museum Naturalists visit each classroom in grades K-6 (or K-5, depending on the middle school separation) three times a year. Each program is 30-45 minutes long. The programs are designed to incorporate the DPI's Environmental Education Curriculum Planning Guidelines and are also aligned with Wisconsin Academic Standards for Science and Environmental Education.
MuseumMobile programs vary by season. Please check out the links below to see the exciting programs offered in Fall, Winter and Spring.
Please make your reservation for MuseumMobile programs three months in advance. For Museum tours, please allow a minimum of two weeks in advance. Group sizes are limited, as some activities are very popular. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is dependent on staff availability. For more information and reservations contact the Museum.
