The Cable Natural History Museum Shop
The Museum Shop is located within the Museum and has many gifts themed to the unique mission of the Museum. You can find nature related books for children and adults, field guides, hiking sticks, greeting cards made by local artists, children’s items for nature exploration, and more. Come and explore! Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.


Museum Hours: The Cable Natural History Museum is open year-round:
Winter Hours: Thurs. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours: Tues. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We are closed for the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Museum location: The Museum is located in downtown Cable, WI at 13470 County Highway M.
The Museum strives to ensure the accessibility of its exhibitions, events, and programs to all persons with disabilities.
The town of Cable is located at the junction of Highways 63 and County Hwy. M in northwestern Wisconsin's Bayfield County. It is approximately 40 miles south of Ashland, 17 miles north of Hayward, and 50 miles southeast of Superior.
