Homeschool groups, Scouts, and other organizations are always welcome at the Cable Natural History Museum. Whether your group wants to explore our exhibit, plan a field trip about a specific natural history topic, or work on a scout badge, award, or charm; we offer high quality educational programs.

Museum hours: The Cable Natural History Museum is open year-round:
Winter Hours: Thurs. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours: Tues. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We are closed for the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Museum location: The Museum is located in downtown Cable, WI at 13470 County Highway M.
The Museum strives to ensure the accessibility of its exhibitions, events, and programs to all persons with disabilities.
The town of Cable is located at the junction of Highways 63 and County Hwy. M in northwestern Wisconsin's Bayfield County. It is approximately 40 miles south of Ashland, 17 miles north of Hayward, and 50 miles southeast of Superior.
