Third Annual Snowshoe Shuffle a Success
The Cable Natural History Museum's
third annual benefit Snowshoe Shuffle drew 29 hardy snowshoers
to Telemark Resort on Jan. 22, 2005. The participants braved
a thick snow squall that blew through as soon as the starting
gun sounded. The group traveled a forested, six-kilometer trail
over 10 inches of fresh powder snow. In the end, Jim Graupner
of Lake Elmo, Minn. and Cindy Brochman of Maplewood, Minn. were
crowned as the top male and female racer.
