Get a Glimpse of the New Cable Natural History Museum
Cable-area community members and all Museum
supporters are invited to a public unveiling of design plans
for a new Cable Natural History Museum facility. An open house
will be held from 7:00—8:30
p.m. on March 23 at the current Museum facility, located at 43570
Kavanaugh St. in Cable. Refreshments will be provided.
The new Museum facility is being designed by Minneapolis architect
Blake Bichanich, who will be on hand to talk about the design,
answer questions, and collect community input. The new facility
will replace the former building on Highway M in Cable. Construction
is set to begin later this year.
The new facility features a classroom, workshop, gift shop,
and more space for exhibits, collections, offices and storage.
The design also includes energy efficient and environmentally
friendly features both inside and outside.
Please join us as we look forward to an exciting future for
the Cable Natural History Museum.
