Hayward High School Graduate Awarded Museum Scholarship
Allison Jonjak, a 2005 graduate of Hayward High School, was
awarded a $100 scholarship from the Cable Natural History Museum
to support her college studies. The scholarship is given annually
by the Museum to a graduating senion who will pursue studies
in biology, environmental education, natural resources, or a
related environmental subject.
Allison currently is a first-year student at the University
of Minnesota, and is studying biosystems and agricultural engineering.
She grew up in a farming family, and credits that background
as giving her an understanding and appreciation for the earth
and its natural systems. She is the daughter of Jean and Randy
Jonjak of Hayward.
