How to Fill Your Basket: A Comprehensive Course for Finding Abundant Wild Mushrooms

Join Arne Martinson from the Wisconsin Mycological Society as he clues you in to professional methods for finding YOUR mushroom spot. During an outdoor mushroom foray, participants will learn how to use various environmental cues to find mushroom locations that produce year after year. You will have a chance to harvest your own mushrooms and we will cover basic safety guidelines and legal requirements for foraging. Meet in the field from 1-4 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Be prepared for walking over uneven terrain.
